Lockaway Storage Charity Partner: Muscular Dystrophy Association
Last week, Phil Brown, manager at Lockaway Storage – Hwy 46, lead Lockaway Storage’s participation in a fundraiser sponsored by the City of Boerne to help families with children who have Muscular Dystrophy.

These donations provide much needed research, equipment and medical care to very courageous children who live every day facing great hardship. The Muscular Dystrophy Association works to help those affected by muscular dystrophy have lives that are as happy and healthy as possible.
“This particular fund drive, the money stays here in this area and benefits people, kids and families in South Texas, so that is pretty close to home,” Phil said. “Every year that I was in the military we also gave to organizations that affected children. My kids are happy and healthy and grown now, but helping kids is something I was always drawn to.”
